Who we are
Alesson Systems is a one-operator digital studio run by Alesson Souza (sole trader, Auckland NZ) operating at studio.alesson.io. Contact: hello@alesson.io · +64 20 4064 0839.
What we collect
Audit form submissions. When you submit the audit form, we collect: name (if given), email, website URL, phone (optional), business type and help-type selection (optional), free-text context (optional). Submissions are processed by Formspree and forwarded to hello@alesson.io.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand site usage. GA collects page views, time on page, device type, browser, screen size, approximate location (country/region — not street-level), and the referring site. GA cookies are only set after you click Accept on the cookie banner. If you click Reject, no analytics cookies are set.
How we use it
Audit form: to deliver the free 24–48h written audit you requested, and any follow-up correspondence you initiate.
Analytics: to understand which pages are useful so I can improve them.
We do not sell your data. We do not run advertising. We do not share with any third party beyond Formspree (form processing) and Google (analytics).
Cookies
cookie_consent_v1 — stores your consent choice (accepted / rejected). Set on every page load. No tracking.
_ga, _ga_* — Google Analytics. Only set after you click Accept. Expire after 2 years (the standard GA lifetime).
That's it. No tracking pixels, no ad cookies, no third-party scripts beyond Google Analytics.
Data retention
Form submissions: retained for the duration of any working relationship plus 7 years (NZ Inland Revenue requirement for tax records on client work).
Analytics: retained per Google's default — 2 months for user-level data.
Your rights under the Privacy Act 2020
You can:
- Request a copyof what we hold about you
- Request correctionof inaccurate data
- Request deletionsubject to tax-record retention obligations
- Withdraw consentfor analytics at any time — clear cookies, or email us
- Complainto the Office of the Privacy Commissioner (privacy.org.nz) at any time

Updates
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top of the page. Active clients will receive an email notification of substantive changes.
