About

One operator.
Fifteen years.
Auckland-based.

Studio is one senior operator who builds the kind of digital systems small NZ businesses actually need: a website that brings in work, an intake layer that catches the calls you cannot, and the local visibility that puts you in front of customers ready to book.

Why one operator, not an agency.

After fifteen years working across agencies and in-house teams, the same pattern kept showing up: small NZ service businesses paying agency rates for work that gets handed to a junior, scoped by a project manager who has never run a trade business, and signed off by an account lead whose job is to keep the contract alive, not to ship the right thing.

Studio is the version of that work without the layers. The person who scopes the project is the person who builds it. No internal handoffs. No status meetings to coordinate other status meetings. Decisions land in hours, not in revisions.

The trade-off is honest: capacity. One operator runs a small number of projects at a time. If you need a dedicated team on call for a multi-product roadmap, this is not it. If you need a senior partner who treats your business like the only one in the room, it probably is.

What I actually ship.

The work clusters into a small number of pieces. Sometimes one. Sometimes all of them. Always in the order where the leak is biggest.

  • AI Concierge AgentCatches chat, missed calls and after-hours enquiries. Qualifies, prices and books.
  • Lead Follow-Up AgentNudges cold quotes, missed forms and stalled leads back to live.
  • CRM Pipeline SystemOne clean operating view for leads, callbacks, quotes, jobs and follow-up.
  • Admin & Ops AgentMorning briefs, invoice chase, the day summarised — quietly, every day.
  • Local SEO + GEOGoogle maps and AI-answer engines: ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews.
  • Conversion Website LayerThe front door — built only when the website itself is part of the leak.
  • Free 1-page diagnosticThe honest entry point. Plain English, one priority, no sales sequence.

How a project actually runs.

Send the problem through the diagnostic form. A specific, written reply lands within 24-48 hours. If there is a fit, we book a 20-minute call to align on goals and scope. A fixed-price proposal follows within a few days. Kickoff happens within a week of agreement, and ships in weeks, not quarters.

You spend roughly one to two hours total across the whole project on review calls. Copy direction comes out of the kickoff conversation, drafted and refined together. You are never sent a blank Google Doc and asked to fill it in.

After launch there is a 30-day stabilisation window for fixes and tweaks at no extra cost. After that, ongoing work is quoted as needed; no retainer required, no monthly minimum.

Who this isn't for

  • Anyone needing a 24/7 SLA-bound retainer.
  • Multi-team SaaS builds with complex integrations.
  • Anyone who wants the cheapest option on Fiverr.
